Pelham is home to many different businesses owned and operated by our neighbours and community members. From family-run shops, restaurants, retailers, service providers and more, there are so many Pelham businesses to discover.

To encourage #shoplocal and #shoppelham the Town of Pelham issues "Pelham Bucks" certificates that can be redeemed at participating local businesses for a range of products and services.

In February 2021, the Town of Pelham, with support from Niagara Region Economic Development, supported local business by expanding its Pelham BUCKS initiative.

With the pandemic's economic challenges and its impact on local businesses, the Town launched a new "Shop Local" promotion as part of its Pelham BUCKS program. Residents were encouraged to share how they #ShopPelham by posting on social media and providing testimonials and referrals about Pelham businesses for a chance to win Pelham BUCKS. In all, over 70 testimonials were received over the contest's two-week period.
